-He should be cheerful,happy good natured,has a sense of humor,and can take a joke.
-Very helpful with school work, explains lessons,and assignments clearly and thoroughly, and uses uses examples in teaching.
-Friendly, human,companionable and has no favored students.
-Very interested in and understands students.
-Makes work interesting and creates a desire to work, makes class work a pleasure
-Strict, has control of the class, commands respect.
-Impartial,shows no favoritism and has a pleasing personality.
-Patient, kindly,sympathetic and not sarcastic.
-Fair and straight forward in dealing with learners, has good discipline
-Requires work to be done properly and promptly, makes learners to work.
-Considerate of learners' feelings in the class, courteous,makes students to feel at ease,
-Knows the subject matter matter and how to put it across.
-Does not pretend to know everything.
Reasonable, not too strict and gives assignments which are within reach.
On the basis of the above information, mathematics teachers should be very concerned about the attitudes and opinions of their students. Undoubtedly, any math teacher who can teach his students in such a way they will learn the subject and at the same time like and respect him or her deserve more honor than the teacher who is not liked by the students even though they learn the subject.
Therefore, teachers owe it as a duty to their students or pupils and to the future of the profession to cultivate good attitudes towards all aspects of teaching.
